Independent cornerstone guide
Goelst offers aluminium curtain-track profiles for domestic, office, hospitality and care-sector use. Its manual tracks include compact channels for sheers and medium curtains as well as larger profiles for heavier curtain loads.
Brand position
Goelst tracks are used across homes and professional interiors, with several profiles designed for both wall and ceiling installation.
Selected profiles can be forward or reverse bent, making them relevant to bay windows, returns and curved layouts.
The Goelst Flow system provides regularly pleated curtain movement when the compatible profile, gliders and curtain construction are used together.
The correct support spacing depends on the profile, curtain package weight, track shape and the manufacturer's fixing guidance.
Typical applications
Domestic straight and bay-window tracks
Sheers, lined curtains and selected heavy curtains
Office buildings and meeting spaces
Care homes and healthcare-related interiors
Hotels and professional environments
Flow-style regularly pleated curtains
Selection process
The compact 2102 is published for sheers and light-to-medium curtains. The larger 4200 is published for light, medium and heavy curtains.
A track described as bendable still has minimum radii and tooling requirements. Measure the fixing line and confirm forward or reverse bends before ordering.
The bracket family changes with the profile and required wall projection. Do not mix supports simply because the profile appears to fit.
Goelst recommends additional support where curtains gather and, where possible, before or after curves. The stack can produce a concentrated load at one end of the track.

Troubleshooting
Check that the connecting bridge is fully seated, the profiles are aligned and cut ends are clean and square.
Confirm that the track was formed to the measured fixing route and that supports hold the profile at the required points.
Check bend radius, glider type, track alignment and curtain load. A bend that is too tight for the profile can prevent smooth travel.
Add or reposition suitable support in line with the manufacturer's fixing guidance and inspect the substrate for movement.
Comparison guidance
TrackFit can independently install suitable manual Goelst systems after confirming the profile number, components, curtain load and site conditions.
The 2102 and 4200 are both published as forward and reverse bendable. The required radius and final fixing route must be confirmed before forming the track.
The 2102 is a compact narrow profile for sheers and light-to-medium curtains. The 4200 is a larger profile published for light through heavy curtains.
The 2102 and 4200 both have published wall and ceiling mounting options, using profile-specific supports.
Spacing depends on the profile and curtain package weight. The current Goelst fixing guide or load table should be used.
Independent and product-specific
TrackFit is independent. Product ranges and technical data can change. Confirm the current manufacturer catalogue and exact system before ordering components, cutting tracks or drilling.
