Forest Group is TrackFit’s principal curtain-track supplier. We work in supply partnership with Forest Group to specify and source suitable systems for residential, trade and commercial installations. The range covers compact domestic tracks, heavy-duty contract systems, recessed profiles, multi-channel tracks, wave components and cord-operated systems.
Brand position
Forest Group manufactures and distributes more than twenty window-covering systems worldwide and has operated for more than thirty years.
TrackFit primarily specifies Forest systems because the range covers light domestic curtains, heavy hotel curtains, bay windows, recessed details, voile-and-blackout combinations and commercial work.
Forest’s original tracks are manufactured from aluminium, use UV-resistant components and are treated to improve carrier movement. Forest publishes a ten-year guarantee on original track and component ranges.
TrackFit’s current installation service concentrates on Forest manual and cord-operated curtain tracks. Forest also manufactures motorised systems, but TrackFit does not presently advertise motorised-track installation.
Because TrackFit has a supply relationship with Forest Group, customers can approach us for both system selection and professional fitting rather than purchasing an unidentified track separately.

Selection process
The KS Klick System is Forest’s compact hand-drawn track for light and medium curtains. It uses Smart Klick wall or ceiling brackets, supports the Forest Easyfold wave system and can be bent for bay and curved applications.
The CS Contract System is Forest’s heavier hand-drawn hotel track. Forest publishes support for medium and heavy curtains, wall and ceiling fitting, bendability and curtain loads up to 15 kg per running metre.
The recessed systems are designed to disappear into the ceiling. KS Recess is aimed at light-to-medium curtains; CS Recess is intended for medium-heavy and heavy curtains. Recess dimensions and structural support must be resolved before plastering.
The Multi Channel System combines independent channels for sheer, blackout and decorative curtains. Forest offers three-channel, reversible two-or-three-channel and compact one-or-two-channel versions.
CKS is the corded counterpart to KS for lighter and medium work. CCS is the heavier cord-operated contract system. Both use separate internal cord channels intended to prevent sag and tangling.
Forest Easyfold System is the brand’s wave-pleat component family. It creates regular folds and is compatible with selected Forest manual, corded and motorised profiles.

Installation
Troubleshooting
Check that the brackets are the correct Forest type, aligned on one level track line and fully open. Do not force a profile into an incompatible or twisted bracket.
Inspect bend radius, channel deformation, cut quality and connector alignment. Test the empty track before blaming the curtain.
Stop using it and inspect the substrate, fixing type, bracket quantity and support around the curtain stack. A stronger profile cannot compensate for weak fixings.
Check FES carrier spacing, hook positions, curtain construction and whether the correct system components have been mixed throughout the track.
Inspect the internal cord route, control ends, track alignment, bends and cord-safety hardware. Do not continue forcing a binding system.
The channel should be protected during finishing. Clean and inspect it before fitting carriers; damaged or contaminated channels can prevent smooth operation.
